Best coffee shop in Seward ⤠great to pop in for a to-go coffee or sit for a few hours with friends or a book!

Beautiful, cozy coffee shop in a rehabilitated church building featuring loads of artwork and plenty of seating options plus free WiFi.I had the mocha which was just okay. Tasted more like chocolate milk than coffee. Next day I got the cold Brew which was much better. It came out of a box but really I don't care as long as it is good. I've seen that same box at Safeway and it's an Alaskan roaster.Strangely the only history information I found was in the only restroom they have (there was a line when I went to use it). I suggest you enjoy a leisurely bathroom break to read it (and might I suggest to the owners that they put that info on the outside of the door so you can read it while you're waiting)

A perfect place to have a coffee. My favorite is the Almond Joy Coffee. Run into locals, get to pet the beautiful owners dog. Lovely artist work displayed. Great places to sit around the shop to become inspired.

Stopped in for some local information and coffee. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about the area, interior is well laid out, cozy and relaxing and the coffee was good and at a reasonable price.

Cute place but very pricey and their Red Bird Bakery cookies are AWFUL, sooooo so dry and all around wonky texture. But cute art inside and the building is really cool, staff is nice. Coffee is okay. Just don’t get the cookies.

An amazing coffee house with great coffee and enjoyable local art for sale. The old church at the base of mount marathon makes this a wonderful place to have a cup of joe with a good book you have been wanting to read.

Delicious white chocolate mocha! Cozy atmosphere on a rainy day.

Great coffee and baked goods to start our day! All in a repurposed historic church.

A hippie type cafe in a historic church. More touristy, but have good coffee and service.

Pleasant & friendly baristas, decent variety of "to-go" foods available such as baked treats, Chobani yogurt, Umpqua oatmeal cups and wraps. Enjoyed perusing featured artist and changing art displayed all walls; various prints, jewelry and small local-made gifts available for purchase in this quaint coffee house.I loved how it was once a church & the historical structure remains but with a new lease on life. This place was busy despite being mid-day on a rainy Tuesday but it had a great atmosphere, catchy music and conversations floating from all corners of the room. Definitely would come here more if I were local!

We spent some time in this coffee shop when we were in Seward last summer. It was a small cozy place with good variety of drinks. We really loved this place along with the art displayed inside the shop.

I just love this coffee house. Such character, and the view upstairs is spectacular!

Stumbled across this church converted to a coffee house, and we're glad we did! Good coffee and breakfast foods, and fun art displayed and for sale. Great service, reasonable prices. Looked like there were some local students using it as a place to study together. Fun music playing, great overall vibe.

Great spot. Highly recommended. Get a peanutbutter filled donut.

The WiFi is super slow. Coffee is decent. Setting is lovely. If you’re coming to chill and read a book, this is your spot. If you need to get anything done using WiFi, don’t waste your time.

I loved everything about this place. The location. The art. The staff. And, the hot chocolate. Definitely a place to visit!

One of the only coffee places open in the winter, this is a great spot for locals! Very cool vibes, and always great art work on the walls that rotate out frequently. The loft area is the best seat in town, with beautiful views overlooking downtown and Resurrection Bay. Only downside is cost, as it can get pricey. However, you can get a better cup of coffee for the same price as Starbucks, so while you're in town, be sure to stop by!

Very cool and beautiful coffee shop and art gallery in an ex-church. The flowers are lovely outside, and inside is an amazing array of beautiful art from local artists, in every conceivable art style and medium. Their food was also great—we loved their breakfast burritos, despite being a bit pricy ($10), and their peanut butter donuts were downright decadent.

Nice atmosphere with cool stuff to look at. Busy and trendy. The goat cheese wrap was filling and tasty. The Americano was $4 and exceptional. The smell is lovely coffee all the way. Best coffee shop in Seward.

Fantastic venue for coffee, art, and relaxation in a renovated church while maintaining an original venue feeling. The coffee is strong, hot, inexpensive, and luscious! The staff is friendly and the patrons inviting. Definitely come and enjoy. We might drive down from Anchorage just for coffee...

Great space and smooth latte, open all year. The loft upstairs is a magical, cozy space with lots of light (in the summer) and the walls are filled with art. There is even a little thrift shop corner.

What a fine fit for this sleepy little Alaskan hamlet. Housed in a traditional old church-house with most of the old architectural details still in place. The massive Scandinavian soapstone fireplace radiates a steady warm wave that is reminiscent of feeling of being tucked in by mom on a cold winters night. The well curated display of local art is inspirational. Being a bit familiar with Seward, it took me on a mental walking tour of the town during the summer months. I am not a fancy coffee guy, i AM a good coffee guy. I was not disappointed with the coffee that I was offered. From my first visit a couple of years ago, it has become what I refer to as my gateway to Seward. After the beautiful drive in from Anchorage, i stop in for a cup of love and decompress while I adjust to Seward Standard Time. Don't fight it.

My favorite coffeeshop in Seward. Good coffee, cute mugs, beautiful art by local artists, dogs are allowed, and a great view from upstairs. I make a point of going every time I'm in Seward.

Cozy coffee shop. Lovely coffee :)

Excellent coffee. Not a breakfast place except for a simple breakfast
Sangeeta Ballal
Very cool cafe! It has a unique decor (can't tell that it's a coffee shop from the outside) and great ambiance (cozy and relaxing). There is plenty of seating, including nooks with couches and great views. There isn't much of of a food selection but the hot beverages are lovely and there is a range of art and trinkets for sale.
kaia hunsaker
Good coffee and baked goods. It's very cozy. Has beautiful art. Nice place to chill with friends in the morning.

Breakfast is just sugar and wheat stuffs. Not my palate . Nice environment to chill
Gregory Hartley
Hard to imagine a more unique coffee shop. Housed in a century-old church, you look through gothic windows at snow capped peaks out one side and out into the ocean from the other. Add to that a hip, artsy vibe, giant, cozy wood stove, and the friendliest baristas you'll ever meet and, well sir, nirvana awaits. Well- priced for Seward (or Anchorage, for that matter). Plan a few extra minutes to sit in the balcony and enjoy views of Resurrection Bay and chat with friendly locals for tips on how to best enjoy the city.
